KickBoxercise Course

Introduction

Learn new techniques to add to those already gained on the Boxercise course. Use elbows, knees and kicks to add variation and different skills to your Boxercise classes/PT sessions - you'll keep your clients coming back for more.

This course is great fun, teaching you how to use both pads and strike shields, thus gaining endless punching and kick combinations.

Structure of the Day

AM
  • New Techniques - learn and practise six new techniques incorporating elbows, knees and kicks.
  • Group Work Section including instructing skills & KickBoxercise Aerobics.
PM
  • Practise Session using focus pads and strike shields to coach the techniques learnt in the morning
  • Practise Coaching Skills learning how to spot and correct common faults.
  • Assessment working in pairs you will be assessed on your ability to coach, teach and instruct a novice kickboxer and demonstrate all techniques safely and effectively. Pass mark 70%.
  • Combination Brainstorming and presentations before the day's conclusion.
