Question: Do I need previous Boxing experience?
No. We teach you everything you will need to know about the punches, teaching and coaching them safely, but you must have a fitness or sports coaching background at Level 2 or equivalent. Other acceptable entry qualifications are PE teacher, Sports Science graduates, Army PTIs etc. If in any doubt, please call us.
If you do not have a fitness qualification, all is not lost. You have the opportunity of taking our Prior Knowledge Entrance Exam (free of charge) and should you pass that, you may take part in our courses. Please note that the prior knowledge test is only available following a telephone assessment and to those that have prior fitness/coaching experience, knowledge of anatomy, physiology and exercise principles. Please give us a call if you would like to take the test paper.
